Who edits your website on WebX
WebX has no login for editing your website. Once the site is live there is no page builder or editor to open, because WebX makes every change after you send it.
How a change request works
You send the change from your account or by email, in your own words. Typical requests are new opening hours for the school holidays, a new price on the services page or a better photo of the shop front. Requests are unlimited and handled one at a time.
We usually make the change within 2 business days. We email you when the change is live. If something is urgent, say so in the message. A second request sent while the first is in progress joins a queue, and your account shows where it sits in line.
After you press send, the request runs through the same automated AI system that built your site, with quality checks before anything is published. If a request gets complicated, a member of the team steps in. If the same change goes back and forth a few times in one day, a member of the team steps in within 1 business day.
What editing it yourself usually costs
A login of your own sounds like control. Owners who have one tend to run into one of these four situations.
The site nobody has touched since 2022. The login works, but an update means finding the password, remembering how the editor works and setting aside an evening, so it does not happen. The homepage still shows a promotion that ended two years ago.
The layout that broke after one wrong click. One dragged block looks fine on your laptop and broken on every phone. You are then searching forums at 11pm or paying someone to undo it.
The learning curve you paid for and did not climb. DIY builders are good tools for people who put in the hours to learn them. Most owners have a business to run, so the editing access they insisted on gets used twice.
The maintenance that came with it. If the old site ran on WordPress or similar, editing it yourself also meant plugin updates, security patches and the occasional white screen.
What a change request covers
A change request is anything inside your existing pages: text, photos, prices, opening hours, promotions, wording, contact details and the content of a section. There is no charge per change. One at a time keeps the workload predictable and the price flat, so your renewal is the same figure however many requests you sent.
What is priced separately
Two things are add-ons.
- Each page beyond the 4 in the plan is an Extra Page add-on at RM99 a year.
- A new look across the whole site is the Design Refresh add-on at RM199 one-off, with three new AI-generated designs to choose from and your content kept as it is.
Who is better off with a DIY builder
If you enjoy trying layouts on a Sunday afternoon and adjusting colours until they look right, WebX will frustrate you, because we give you no controls. A DIY builder such as Wix or WordPress.com suits that better.
If you publish new content daily (news posts, a daily menu, a blog you write yourself), you need direct publishing, and a DIY builder gives you that. For bigger needs, Pixl Digital, the studio behind WebX, takes custom builds with a proper CMS.
WebX is for owners who want a clean, current website without thinking about how websites work. It is built for you if the time you want to spend on the site is zero apart from the occasional change request.
