Every request is logged in your account with its place in the queue, at no extra charge. We've been in web design since 2009 - we're not going anywhere.
- "Do I own my domain?"
The free WebX-branded domain is yours for as long as you're an active WebX customer. A custom domain purchased through WebX is registered in your name and goes with you if you ever leave.
- "Don't I have to pay for hosting, licences, and all that? How is WebX so cheap?"
Most of our process is automated - you get the same 4-page site an agency builds by hand, without the hours that make it expensive. WebX builds information websites only - for selling online, we recommend a separate ecommerce store (Shopee, Lazada, TikTok Shop, etc), linked from your website for free. Read our guide on selling online.

Frequently asked questions
- What counts as a content update?
Anything inside your existing pages: new text, photos, prices, opening hours and promotions, sent from your account. An extra page is RM99 a year, and a whole new look is the Design Refresh at RM199. Full answer in the FAQ.
- What happens at renewal?
You pay RM899 for the next year, the same price you signed up at. Reminders with the amount and a payment link start 45 days before the date, and card payments can renew automatically. Full answer in the FAQ.
- What if I stop paying?
Your site stays online for 30 days after the renewal date, then goes offline. Renew within 14 days and it comes back free, or later for RM899 plus a RM99 fee. It is deleted 12 months after expiry. Full answer in the FAQ.
- Can I get a refund?
Yes, in full within 7 days of the email saying your site is live, if you have not asked for a content update or connected your own domain. A renewal is refunded within 14 days if the new year is unused. Full answer in the FAQ.
- Can I take my website elsewhere?
Yes. A ZIP export (RM99) gives you the whole site as standard files, with a 7-day download link. A custom domain registered through WebX is in your name and goes with you. Full answer in the FAQ.
