The firm
Small on purpose, careful by habit
Meridian Chambers started in 2014. Two lawyers founded it. They believed clients should never be surprised by the final bill. The firm has stayed small since then: three lawyers and one practice manager.
We take on a file only when one lawyer can carry it personally, from first call to completion. This is a slower way to grow. But it is a better way to run a firm.

Disbursements, line by line
Stamp duty, searches and registration fees are listed separately in your quote. Receipts are attached at completion. No lump sums. No rounding up.
A note every Friday
Every open file gets a short note every Friday. Even with no news, such as the bank not replying yet, we still write.
